Whether you’re building a new landing page or editing an existing one, the website editor inside your Profit Share Site or Market Center Site is intuitive and flexible. This guide walks you through how to access the editor, understand its structure, and make basic content changes—no coding needed.
Step 1: Access the Website Editor #
- Log into app.profitsharesites.com.
- In the left-hand menu, click Sites.
- Choose the website or funnel along the top, then select the one you want to edit (this could be your recruiting site, growth accelerator, or a standalone page).
- To create a new page, click Add New Page.
- Give the page a title and path (e.g., “co-broker”).
- You can start from scratch or choose a prebuilt template (aka a different page from the funnel or website you’re editing) to import.
Step 2: Understand the Page Layout Structure #
The page editor is built using a hierarchical structure of design elements:
- Sections (Green): The largest blocks on the page, typically full-width areas that hold everything else.
- Rows (Blue): Inside sections, rows help control the layout across the page (e.g., 1-column, 2-column, etc.).
- Columns (Pink): These divide your row into specific content areas.
- Elements (Orange): These are the actual pieces of content—text, buttons, images, forms, etc.
💡 Hovering over different parts of the page will highlight these levels so you can see what you’re editing.
💡 While hovering over an item, clicking the overlapping squares in the upper right of the highlighted area will allow you to copy that item.
Step 3: Make Basic Content Changes #
- Edit Text: Click directly on the text, then type or paste in your new message.
- Change Colors: Highlight text and use the editor toolbar that pops up to change the font color, alignment, or size.
- Move Items: Click and drag elements (like forms or text blocks) to rearrange the layout, or click the up or down arrows that show in the upper left of the highlighted area.
- Duplicate: Use the clone icon to quickly copy rows, columns, or elements—great for keeping a consistent design.
- Delete: Use the trash icon to remove anything unnecessary.
Step 4: Add New Elements #
- Click the + icon (Add Element) on the left panel.
- Choose from a wide range of components, including:
- Text blocks
- Forms
- Images
- Videos
- Social icons
- Calendars
- More!
- Drag and drop the element where you want it to appear on the page.
Tips for a Clean Editing Experience #
- Use prebuilt templates if you’re unsure where to start—they’re structured for performance.
- Keep layouts simple and mobile-friendly by sticking to 1–2 column designs.
- Avoid deleting key sections on core site pages unless you’re sure—they’re optimized for lead conversion.
- For specialty or one-off use (like referral forms or SMS opt-ins), feel free to build new “hidden” pages that don’t link from your main site.
