When a recruit completes onboarding and moves into the Joined KW stage in your Onboarding Pipeline, you can automatically notify your Operating Principal (OP). This ensures leadership stays in the loop when someone officially joins your Market Center.
Step 1: How the Notification Works #
Once the Onboarding Specialist moves a recruit into the Joined KW (Last 30 Days) stage, an automation can trigger an email notification to the OP — if this feature is enabled.
By default, notifications are turned off, so you’ll need to manually activate them.
Step 2: Enable OP Notifications #
- In your left navigation, go to Settings (bottom left).
- Scroll down to Custom Values.
- Switch to the Folders view for easier navigation.
- Open the Automation Defaults folder.
- Find Notify OP (Yes or No).
- Click the three dots to the right and select Edit Custom Value.
- Type Yes (with a capital “Y” and lowercase “es”) — exactly as shown, with no spaces before or after.
- Click Update.
This activates the OP notification feature.
Step 3: Add the OP’s Email Address #
- Go back to the Folders list.
- Scroll down and open the MISC (Miscellaneous) folder.
- Find OP Email – Joined KW.
- Click the three dots, then choose Edit Custom Value.
- Type or paste your OP’s email address — again, no spaces before or after.
- Click Update.
By following these steps, you’ll ensure your OP receives an instant email notification whenever someone officially joins your Market Center.
