As recruits move through your pipeline, the system automatically sends them emails and text messages. It’s helpful to see exactly what they’re receiving so you know how the communication looks from their side.
There are three ways to do this:
1. Send Yourself Through the Pipeline #
- Go to your Join KW page.
- Fill out the form, select the pipeline stage (e.g., Not in School, In School, Licensed Agent), and submit.
- Use an email address that is not already tied to a user in the system.
- If you usually log in with your
@kw.comemail, use a personal email. - If you log in with an admin address (like
KLRW####@kw.com), then use your main KW email.

- This way, you’ll experience the communication exactly as a recruit would.
2. Review Communication from a Recruit’s Contact Card #
- In the system, find a contact currently in the pipeline.
- Click on the contact card (not the opportunity card).
- Inside, you’ll see the history of emails, text messages, and whether the recruit opened or engaged with them.
3. Preview Automation Emails and Texts #
- Go to Automation in the system.
- Select the stage you want to review (for example, Not in School Nurture).
- Open the automation to see the full list of emails and text messages that go out.
- Important:
- Do not edit anything inside double brackets (
{{ }}), as these are custom values. - Do not change or break links.
- You can edit the text itself if you’d like to customize the message.

By using these three methods, you can see exactly what recruits are receiving—whether by testing it yourself, checking from a recruit’s record, or previewing from the automation.
