Hosting a virtual info session or career night? You’ll want to make sure your Zoom link is added so recruits can easily join.
Here’s how to set it up step by step:
Step 1: Create a Recurring Zoom Meeting #
- Log into Zoom and go to Meetings.
- Click Schedule a Meeting.
- Enter a meeting name, such as Virtual Info Session.
- Set the meeting time. For convenience, set it as a recurring meeting (e.g., weekly at 5 p.m.).
- This way, the link stays consistent, even if you don’t use it every week.
- Add a passcode (example:
kscore). - Set an end date for the recurring series. (Be sure to create a new one later once it expires.)
- Click Save and copy your Zoom link.
Step 2: Add the Zoom Link to Your Recruiting Calendar #
- Go to your Recruiting Site.
- In the left-hand navigation, select Calendars.
- At the top, click Calendar Settings.
- Find the calendar you want to edit (e.g., Info Session Virtual) and click the pencil icon to the right.
Step 3: Insert the Zoom Link in Two Key Places #
- Meeting Details
- Replace the “Virtual” location with your Zoom link.
- Update the meeting invite title to something clear like Virtual Real Estate Career Night.
- Meeting Invite Notes
- Scroll to Notifications → Meeting Invite Notes.
- Paste your Zoom link and include the password.
- Example:
Zoom Link: [paste link here] Password: kscore
(Tip: Add the Zoom link in both places so it’s easy for recruits to find.)
Step 4: Save Your Changes #
Once you’ve added the Zoom link, click Save in the upper right corner.
That’s it! Your virtual info session or career night calendar invite now includes the Zoom link and password so recruits can join seamlessly.
