You’ve had the Discovery Call, confirmed the recruit is licensed, and now you’re ready to hand them off to a Market Center. But what are the best ways to go about this?
The ideal Market Center contact to hand a recruit off to after a Discovery call is not always the Team Leader. While it does tend to be that person, some MCs use ATLs, Directors of Agent Services, and even PCs!
There are three key components of finding the right person. Here’s how most Career Consultants using our sites go about it:
Step 1. Locate the Best MC Near Your Recruit #
Discussing the geographic location of where your recruit is should be part of your recruiting call, so you should already have a good idea of which MCs are nearby.
While you can do this in a number of ways, we recommend using https://kw.com/offices to find the closest MC to your recruit. You can use this to search by city, state, and Zip.
Remember that this site includes MCs, BCs, and even Mega Agent offices. So pairing this search with the KW Intranet White Pages can help you find the right place.
Step 2. Determine the Appropriate MC Contact #
To determine who the appropriate MC contact is, we recommend calling the main MC number. While this person will likely be the Team Leader, it isn’t always the case.
If you have trouble reaching the front desk or getting a call back after leaving a message, try calling the Team Leader and asking if they’re the right person to connect a potential recruit to or if there’s a better contact for the handoff.
