🧠What is the Discontinued Process stage? #
The Discontinued Process stage is used when a recruit has chosen to end their journey with Keller Williams and no longer wishes to pursue a career in real estate or has requested to stop all contact. This stage ensures that your team respects the recruit’s decision while closing out their file appropriately.
âś… How does a recruit enter the Discontinued Process stage? #
A recruit enters this stage manually, when a leader confirms that:
- The recruit has decided not to pursue real estate
- The recruit has chosen not to move forward with KW
- The recruit has asked to be removed from future communication
Leaders should move the recruit to this stage to formally close the loop in the recruiting pipeline.
🚀 What happens when a recruit enters this stage? #
Upon entry:
- The recruit is marked for removal from active recruiting workflows
- No additional follow-up is triggered
- This stage helps prevent unwanted outreach and keeps your pipeline clean and focused
🔄 How does a recruit leave this stage? #
The recruit automatically exits this stage after 30 days, at which point the system removes them from the IS Recruiting Pipeline entirely.
This timing allows for a brief grace period before final removal, in case any status changes or updates are needed.
đź’ˇ Pro Tip: #
Always document why a recruit entered this stage—especially if they requested no further contact. Clear notes can help protect your team’s professionalism and ensure respectful compliance with communication preferences.
