Connecting your custom domain is a key step in launching your Profit Share or Market Center recruiting site. Whether you’re using GoDaddy or another registrar, this guide walks you through both the automatic and manual connection process.
Step 1: Navigate to Domain Settings #
- Log into your Profit Share Site and land on the dashboard.
- Click Settings (lower-left corner).
- Scroll down and select Domains.
- Click Connect a Domain.
- When prompted, choose the Funnel / Website / Store / Blog / Webinar Link option.
Step 2: Enter Your Domain #
- Type in your domain name (e.g.,
yourkwsite.com) and click Continue. - A pop-up will appear asking if you’d like to connect automatically or manually.
Option A: Automatic Connection (GoDaddy) #
If you’re logged into your GoDaddy account:
- Click Continue and follow the prompts.
- The system will attempt to connect your domain automatically.
- If it errors out (which can happen), you can fall back to the manual method.
Option B: Manual Connection (Any Domain Registrar) #
You’ll be provided two DNS records to manually add to your domain provider.
Record 1: A Record #
- Type: A
- Host:
@ - Value: (Copy from the platform)
- TTL: 600 seconds
Steps in GoDaddy (example):
- Log into GoDaddy and select your domain.
- Click DNS.
- Find the existing A record with the
@symbol. - Click Edit, paste in the new value, set TTL to 600 seconds, and Save.
Record 2: CNAME Record #
- Type: CNAME
- Host:
www - Value: (Copy from the platform)
- TTL: 600 seconds
Steps in GoDaddy (example):
- Find the CNAME record with
wwwas the host. - Click Edit, update the value, set TTL to 600 seconds, and Save.
Step 3: Authorize & Connect the Domain #
- Return to Profit Share Sites and click Verify Records.
- Once the domain is recognized, click Authorize Domain.
- Then select Website and link your domain to the appropriate site (e.g., Recruiting Site or Growth Accelerator).
- Set the Home Page as the default step and click Proceed to finish setup.
✅ That’s it! Your custom domain is now connected to your Profit Share Site.
