Currently, this resource is specific to Market Center Sites 3.0. With Market Center Sites 3.0, there’s a new two-step process to move recruits between pipelines. The reason for the change is based on feedback from version 2 users, who occasionally moved people on accident, triggering unintended automations and creating additional headaches.
To do this, follow the steps below:
Step 1: Approval Check #
- Find the Opportunity Card of the Recruit that needs to be moved.
- Open the Opportunity Card by selecting it anywhere but the the recruit’s name (NOTE: Selecting the recruit’s name will instead open the Contact Card).
- Select “Exit Pipeline/Long Term Nurture” in the vertical navigation along the left side of the Opportunity Card.
- Toggle the “Approval Check (Exit Pipeline)” drop-down from “No” to “Yes.”
- Select the appropriate pipeline they should be moved to in “Exit To (Exit Pipeline)” field.
- Complete the “Holding Stage (Exit Pipeline)” step:
- Select No if you wish for the system to place them in the most-likely spot based on their current pipeline.
- Select Yes if you wish to move them directly to the Holding Stage of the new pipeline, so you can determine the next best stage.
- If you are moving them to the “Long Term Nurture” pipeline, also complete the following two steps:
- Set the “Follow Up Cadence (Long Term Nurture)” by choosing how frequently you will follow up with the recruit.
- Set the “Auto Expire (Long Term Nurture)” to specify how long the recruit will stay in the Long Term Nurture pipeline.*
- Hit Update
Step 2: Move the Recruit #
- Toggle to the “Opportunity Details” section of the card at the top of the vertical navigation along the left.
- Open the drop-down under “Stage” and select “Exit Pipeline” for the recruit to move.
- Hit Update
Note that it may take 3-5 minutes or so for the recruit to move between stages.
If an error occurs in this process, the Recruit will be moved to the Holding Stage.
* Once the duration expires, the recruit will be moved to the Long Term Nurture holding stage and an email will be sent to the assigned user, who can take the next most appropriate step, including dropping the Opportunity, reactivating the follow up by moving the Opportunity back to the stage they came from and setting a new Auto Expire, or using the Exit Pipeline process to move the recruit to a different pipeline.
