In this video, you’ll learn how to add affiliate links to your recruiting website so you can earn extra income when someone signs up for real estate school through your site.
What is Affiliate Marketing? #
Affiliate marketing is a simple concept. You earn a commission by promoting a product or service using a unique affiliate link. When someone uses your link to make a purchase — in this case, enrolling in real estate school — you get paid. You become what’s known as an Affiliate Partner.
Please note that Affiliate programs aren’t available in all countries. For example, Affiliate programs for real estate are not available in Canada.
How Affiliate Marketing Works with Profit Share Sites #
Here’s how it works with your Profit Share Site. When someone visits your site and selects “Not in School,” they’re automatically entered into an email sequence. They will receive weekly messages educating them on the benefits of becoming an agent and prompting them to enroll in real estate school. These messages link back to a page on your site that asks which state they want to get licensed in. That page is where your affiliate links are displayed.
If they click your link and sign up for a course, you earn a commission from the education provider.
Applying to Become an Affiliate Marketer #
To get started, you’ll need to apply to become an affiliate with both Colibri Real Estate — formerly Real Estate Express — and The CE Shop. To sign up for Colibri, sign up via this link. For The CE Shop, email their team directly at Sales@TheCEShop.com to request an affiliate account.
Once you’re approved, both companies will give you your unique affiliate links.
Adding Affiliate Marketing Links #
Here’s how to add your Affiliate Marketing links to your Profit Share Site:
- From the dashboard screen go to Sites on the left hand side.
- Select “Websites” from the top horizontal navigation
- Select “Recruiting Engine” to see all the pages on your recruiting website.
- Next, locate the Become An Agent page and select Edit.
- Scroll down until you see the buttons under the Colibri Real Estate and The CE Shop logos. Select the button under Colibri Real Estate to open the button editor will open on the right side of the page.
- Locate and copy your unique Colibri affiliate link. Then, scroll down to the bottom of the button editor. You will see a section called Button Actions. Locate, highlight, and replace the Colibri Real Estate URL in the “Website” box with your unique affiliate link.
- Make sure to hit the blue Publish button in the upper right corner.
- Now, do the same thing for your CE Shop link.
- Again, make sure to hit the blue Publish button in the upper right hand corner.
Your links have now been added to your site.
