Updating Your Email Headers

By default, emails sent from your Profit Share Site or Market Center Site include a “from” name that includes your domain (like joinyourdomain.com) along with a pre-set plain-text name (like Join Market Center Name). You can customize this to reflect your personal or team brand more clearly—without altering the email address itself.

Here’s how to update the “From Name” that shows up in recipients’ inboxes.

1. Log In to Your ProfitShare Site #

1. Log In: Start by logging into your Profit Share Site admin dashboard.
2. Click Settings in the lower left hand corner.
3. In the Settings panel, select Email Services from the menu on the left (no need to scroll—it’s near the bottom).
4. You’ll see a section labeled Select Default Provider with Dedicated Domain on the right-hand side. Click the Dedicated Domain tab.
5. You’ll see your connected sending domain (e.g., mailer.joinmc.com). Next to it, click the three-dot menu and select Set Headers.
6. In the Set Headers dialog:
   • We Do not recommend changing the “From Email.”
   • Instead, you can definitely update the “From Name” to reflect how you want your name or brand to appear in recipients’ inboxes. (Example: Change Join Your Name → Your Name or Your Team Name)
7. Click Save to apply the update.
