๐งญ What is the Joined Another Brokerage stage? #
The Joined Another Brokerage stage is used when a recruit has officially decided not to join Keller Williams and instead affiliates with a different brokerage. This stage allows for long-term, value-based follow-up while respecting the recruitโs current decision.
โ How does a recruit enter the Joined Another Brokerage stage? #
A recruit enters this stage manually, when a leader learns that the recruit has joined another company and moves their card into this stage.
๐ What happens when a recruit enters this stage? #
Upon entry:
- The recruit is automatically added to a 2-year monthly follow-up plan, which sends a recurring notification to the assigned leader.
- Each monthly reminder encourages the leader to:
- Check in with the recruit
- See how theyโre doing at their new brokerage
- Offer help, support, or a ticket to a KW training or event
- Check in with the recruit
This approach keeps the relationship warm and opens the door for future recruiting opportunities.
๐ How does a recruit leave this stage? #
The recruit automatically exits this stage after 30 days. At that point, the system removes them from the IS Recruiting Pipeline.
However, the long-term follow-up remains active in the background, continuing outside the pipeline to support future re-engagement.
๐ก Pro Tip: #
Even if a recruit joins another brokerage, your consistent, value-first follow-up could be the reason they reconsider KW later. Use training invites and check-ins as genuine touchpointsโnot sales pitches.
