The In School (Awaiting Exam Date) stage is where recruits are placed when they are actively enrolled in real estate school and working toward their licensing exam. This stage is all about maintaining consistent communication and helping the recruit stay on track as they near their testing milestone.

✅ How does a recruit enter the In School (Awaiting Exam Date) stage?
A recruit can enter this stage in one of the following ways:

Automatically:
When a recruit attends a scheduled 1:1 call via the In School Calendar and is marked as “Showed” by the leader.
Manually:
When a leader moves a recruit from the NS Pipeline to the IS Pipeline due to enrollment in real estate school.
Manually:
When a recruit is transferred into the IS Pipeline from the KSCORE Pipeline and is confirmed to be actively in school.

🚀 What happens when a recruit enters this stage?
Once a recruit is placed in the In School (Awaiting Exam Date) stage:

The assigned leader has 30 minutes to set a follow-up cadence on the recruit’s card.
Options include: Weekly, Bi-Weekly, or Monthly check-ins.
Based on the selected cadence, the system will:
- Send automated email and text check-ins to the recruit, asking how school is going.
- Create recurring phone call tasks for the leader to follow up and discuss the recruit’s progress and potential exam date.
As the leader gathers more information from the recruit, they should:
- Manually enter the recruit’s exam date on the recruit’s card in the designated “Exam Date” field.
- This ensures accurate tracking and positions the recruit for a smooth handoff to the next pipeline stage.

🔄 How does a recruit leave this stage?
Once the exam date is confirmed and recorded on the recruit’s card:

The leader should move the recruit to the Exam Scheduled (36-Hour Notice) stage.
This triggers a timed reminder for the leader to reach out 36 hours before the scheduled exam and wish the recruit good luck.

Entering the exam date in the recruit card is more than just a step — it’s the trigger for downstream automation. Be sure to record it as soon as you confirm it. You can always edit it later if it changes.
