If you are using an Agent Site from Profit Share Sites and wish to integrate a phone number for SMS texting through the system, you will need to follow the steps below to increase your chances of having your A2P campaign application approved.
IMPORTANT: If you are using a Market Center Site, the A2P application is part of the Onboarding we do for the market center once a phone number is purchased through the system.
- From the Dashboard, click Sites along the left vertical navigation.
- On the page that displays, click “Forms” along the top horizontal navigation then “Builder” from the drop down that displays.
- Open the Join KW form
- Select “Phone” in the form to open the editor on the right side of the screen, then deselect the “required” field. You will most likely not pass A2P application if you require the applicant’s phone number.
- From the Elements menu along the left, scroll down to the Customized section, then drag a Text element and place it directly above the Captcha “I’m Not A Robot” check box.
- Replace the default text with the following in the box:
By providing my phone number, I consent to receive phone calls and SMS notifications (appointment reminders, update requests, and status check-ins) from {{location.name}}. Message frequency varies. Message & data rates may apply. Text HELP to ###-###-#### or email us at {{location.email}} for assistance. You can reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time. - Highlight the text and change the font size to 14.
- Replace ###-###-#### with the phone number you purchased. You can also change the custom fields for {{location.name}} and {{location.email}} if desired; these pull from your Business Profile in the system.
- Hit the blue Save button in the upper right corner.
- Do the same for the Worldwide Inquiry form.
