This resource is specific to Market Center Sites 3.0 as it uses URL Redirects for select calendars.
Use this process to connect a virtual meeting link (such as Zoom or Google Meet) to any virtual calendar within your system.
1️⃣ Create a Generic Virtual Meeting Link #
This link will be reused for all meetings on that calendar (for example, all Virtual Info Sessions or Blueprint Reviews). Follow the steps below:
- Open your virtual meeting platform (e.g., Zoom or Google Meet).
- Create a new meeting in Zoom by click “Schedule a Meeting.”
- Title the meeting to match the calendar it applies to (for example, Virtual Career Night or Blueprint Review).
- Set a placeholder date and time — this won’t matter, but it’s required to save the meeting.
- Check “Recurring meeting.” Select a frequency (e.g., weekly) so you can easily access the link anytime.
- Save the meeting.
- Copy the Join/Invite Link — this is the link that participants will use to enter the meeting.
2️⃣ Identify the Correct URL Redirect for the Calendar #
Each virtual calendar uses a unique URL redirect that points to its virtual meeting link. Follow the steps below or reference the available URL Redirects at the bottom of this section:
| CALENDAR | URL REDIRECT |
| Info Session (Virtual) | /virtual-info |
| Command | /virtual-cmd |
| KWPREP | /virtual-ksc |
| Onboarding (Personal) | /virtual-onbp |
| Onboarding (Group) | /virtual-onbg |
| Career Coaching | /virtual-ccs |
3️⃣ Update the URL Redirect to Point to the New Link #
Now you’ll connect the redirect to your new virtual meeting link. Follow these steps:
- In the left navigation, click Settings at the bottom.
- In the left navigation, scroll down and click Domains & URL Redirects.
- Click URL Redirects along the top.
- Locate the redirect that matches the one from your calendar (for example,
virtual-info) on the second page of redirects. - Click the three dots (…) next to that redirect and select Edit.
- Replace the existing URL (for example,
zoom.com) with your new Join Link from Step 1. - Click Update Redirect.
- Your redirect (for example,
yourlocationwebsite.com/virtual-info) will now automatically open that Zoom or Google Meet link when clicked.
✅ Important: Final Check #
NOT all calendars have the URL Redirect link built into the calendar. Return to your calendar and click the link to confirm it opens the correct virtual meeting.
- In your site’s left navigation, scroll to the bottom and click Settings if you aren’t already there.
- Click Calendars in the left navigation.
- Select the calendar you want to edit such as Info Session (Virtual), KWPREP, or Command Demo.
- Scroll down to the Meeting Location field.
- You’ll see something like:
{{location.website.com}}/virtual-info - If this field is empty, paste the URL Redirect inside using
{{location.website.com}}. as the primary URL for your recruiting site, followed by the redirect extension (eg./virtual-info) immediately after with no spaces between.
- You’ll see something like:
